Fix the missing Fujitsu scanner(Fi-7160) in the Kronocard scan module

Sometimes you may notice that your Fujitsu scanner is suddenly is missing from the scanner list in the Kronocard scan interface


In order to fix this issue, please first make sure that the scanner driver is installed in the first place, then restart your computer:

If your driver was already installed and the scanner is still missing, please do the following:


  1. Uninstall any scanner driver and app related to Fujitsu
  2. In the System settings -> Printers & Scanners, please click on your scanner and select "Remove device"
  3. Restart your computer
  4. Please then remove the scanner again by repeating step 2
  5. Install the driver for your scanner by clicking on the link in bold, at the top of this article
  6. Open Kronocard and the scanner should now be showing
