How to change the image folder of Kronocard

Modified on Wed, 17 Apr at 9:57 AM

By default all the data saved for Kronocard is found in the folder

c:\ProgramData\Kronozio

Normally all the information in that folder do not take a lot of disk space except for the scanned images. On average you can calculate that the images will take 1Gb of disk space for avery 8,000 cards (front and back). So around 12.5Gb for 100,000 cards.

Sometime having everything in the C: drive is too much. We have a way of moving all the images to another drive for your convenience. First please close Kronocard.

First, go to C:\ProgramData\Kronozio\Metacard\Images cut everything in that folder and past it to the new destination.

If you go in the folder C:\ProgramData\Kronozio\Metacard, You will find a file called Metacard.ini open that file.

In that file you will find many things but what you need to look for is a parameter like this:  [DATABASE]

Under that parameter you can add this:  Images = E:\YourFolder

So just replace E:\YourFolder to wehre you moved all the images. When done save that file and start Kronocard. Next time you will scan cards they will go to that folder.
